Steering Wheel Replacement

Preliminary Procedure: Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Replacement .
1	Steering Wheel Nut NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 40 N.m (30 lb ft)
2	Steering Wheel Procedure Disconnect any electrical connectors as needed. Use puller J 1859-A and puller legs J 42578 to remove the steering wheel. See Special Tools . Special Tools J 1859-A Steering Wheel Puller J 42578 Steering Wheel Puller Legs. See Special Tools .

Procedure

Disconnect any electrical connectors as needed.
Use puller J 1859-A and puller legs J 42578 to remove the steering wheel. See Special Tools .
