Preliminary Procedures Disable the roof rail SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling . Disconnect seat belt anchor from the seat. Refer to Seat Belt Retractor Pretensioner Replacement - Front . Remove the seat belt opening close-out panel, located at the rear of the seat side shield panel, by pushing in and up to release the retaining tabs from the side shield.
1	Upper Garnish Molding Screw Cover
2	Upper Garnish Molding Screw NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 2 N.m (18 lb in)
3	Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Assembly Procedure Remove the seat belt D-ring from the adjuster assembly. Pull the trim panel toward the inside of the vehicle to disengage the retainers. Slide seat belt assembly through the opening in the molding.
