Front Side Door Rear Weatherstrip Replacement

Callout Component Name
1 Front Side Door Weatherstrip Rear Screw
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten:  2 N.m (18 in)

2 Front Door Weatherstrip
Tip: 
  1. The part and surface should be 21°C (70°F) prior to installation. The vehicle should remain 21°C (70°F) for one hour after assembly to allow adhesive to develop sufficient bond strength.
  2. Use a J 25070  Heat Gun or equivalent to remove the old weatherstrip. Clean all adhesive from panel and wipe the surface dry with a clean lint-free towel prior to installing the new weatherstrip.
  3. Apply 2 layers of adhesive tape.
  4. When removing protective liners from the adhesive tape, be careful not to touch tape with hands and do not allow tape to come in contact with dirt or any foreign matter prior to adhesion.
  5. Using the palm of the hand, wet out the weatherstrip to the panel and ensure full adhesion of the weatherstrip is made.
