Fastener Tightening Specifications: Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications . Preliminary Procedure Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (LY7) or Draining and Filling Cooling System (L26) in Engine Cooling. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.6L (LY7).
1	Hose, Radiator Outlet Tip: Use J 38185 hose clamp plier to release the clamp on the radiator outlet hose. See Special Tools .

Preliminary Procedure

Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (LY7) or Draining and Filling Cooling System (L26) in Engine Cooling.
Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.6L (LY7).

Hose, Radiator Outlet
Tip: Use J 38185 hose clamp plier to release the clamp on the radiator outlet hose. See Special Tools .
