Installation Procedure

  1. Install the oil cooler into the vehicle.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the upper bolts into the oil cooler bracket.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  5. Install the lower bolts to the oil cooler bracket.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  6. Lower the vehicle.

  8. Connect the oil cooler lines to the auxiliary oil cooler.
  9. Attach the oil cooler lines to the push clips in the mounting bracket.
  10. Reinstall the grille assembly. Refer to Grille Replacement (Uplevel) or Grille Replacement (Base) .
