Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) purge pipe.

  4. Disconnect the purge valve electrical connector.

  6. Remove the purge valve mounting nuts.
  7. Remove the engine wiring harness bracket from the mounting stud.

  9. Remove the purge valve from the intake manifold.
