Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to SIR Caution in Cautions and Notices.

  1. Remove the knee bolster trim panel. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement - Right .
  2. Remove the body control module (BCM). Refer to Body Control Module Replacement in Computer/Integrating Systems.
  3. Remove the nuts (1) securing the knee bolster bracket to the instrument panel (I/P).
  4. Remove the knee bolster bracket (2).
