Installation Procedure

  1. Position the instrument cluster (1) to the vehicle.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the screws (2) that retain the instrument cluster to the instrument panel carrier.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  3. Install the instrument panel cluster trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Bezel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Cluster .
  4. Tilt the steering column to the up position, if equipped with tilt steering.
  5. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Engine Electrical.
