Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
    Fig 1: Tie Rod Lock Nuts & Outer Tie Rod

  1. Install the outer tie rod by tightening the lock nuts to 54 N.m (40 lb ft).
    2. Fig 2: Outer Tie Rod Hex Nut & Steering Knuckle

  2. Install the outer tie rod by tightening the hex nut to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).
