Oil Pump Disassemble

Fig 1: Turning Drive Gear With 2 Screwdrivers

NOTE: Use extreme care when working around oil seals. Damage to the lip of a seal will cause oil leaks.

Turn the drive gear with 2 screwdrivers and make sure it rotates smoothly.

IMPORTANT: Do not let the driver drop as it might come off attached to the stator shaft.

Remove the 8 bolts and the stator shaft.

Remove the oil pump drive gear and driven gear from the oil pump body.
