Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution .
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the heater core cover. Refer to Heater Core Replacement (Hatchback) or Heater Core Replacement (Notchback) .
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  4. Remove the sensor retaining screws.
  5. Remove the sensor from the heater core pipe.
