Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left and the right rear rocker trim panels.

    Refer to Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement (Notchback) or Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement (Hatchback) .

  2. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement .
  3. Remove the bolts and the left and the right lower front seat belt anchors from the lower/center pillar.
  4. Remove the left and the right lower B-pillar trim panels. Refer to Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement (Notchback) or Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement (Hatchback) .
  5. Remove the front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  6. Pry off the left and the right front rocker trim panels.
  7. Remove the floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement (Notchback) or Front Floor Console Replacement (Hatchback) .

  8. Remove the floor carpet.
