Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the transaxle from the vehicle. Refer Transmission Replacement in Manual Transmission - D16.
  3. Remove the pressure plate bolts and the pressure plate.
  4. Fig 2: Clutch Disc

    IMPORTANT: Support the pressure plate when you remove the last bolt.
  5. Remove the clutch disc from the flywheel
