Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Suzuki Swift + and 2004 Chevrolet Aveo. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
  3. Remove the screw that secures the receiver-dryer band clamp.
  4. Remove the receiver-dryer with the bolts.

  5. Drain the oil from the receiver-dryer into a container. Measure the amount of oil drained from the receiver dryer and then discard this used oil.
