Input Shaft Disassemble

Tools Required

J 22912-01 Universal Bearing Puller. See Special Tools and Equipment .

Fig 1: Detent Screw & Input Driveshaft

Remove the detent screw at the end of the input driveshaft.

Fig 2: Snap Ring & Gear Cluster

Remove the snap ring at the base of the gear cluster.

Press the input driveshaft from the input shaft cluster gear using the J 22912-01 (1). See Special Tools and Equipment .

Remove the cluster shaft bearing from the input shaft gear cluster using theJ 22912-01 (1). See Special Tools and Equipment .
