Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Drain the coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .
  3. Remove the rear timing belt cover. Refer to Timing Belt Cover Replacement in Engine Mechanical 1.2L.

  5. Remove the coolant pump nuts (2).
  6. Remove the bolts (1).
  7. Remove the coolant pump (3,4).
  8. Remove the gasket.
