Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Fig 1: TCM Electrical Connector

  3. Locate the transmission control module (TCM) electrical connector next to the brake pedal assembly.
  4. Disconnect the transmission control module (TCM) electrical connector.
  5. Fig 2: TCM Retaining Bolts

  6. Remove the TCM retaining bolts.
  7. Remove the TCM.
