Park/Neutral Position Switch Inspection

  1. Disconnect the park/neutral position (PNP) switch.
  2. Fig 2: Polarity & Indicator Circuit Table

  3. Test the continuity of each range according to the polarity and indicator circuit table.
  4. If an incorrect range is displayed during testing, then replace the PNP switch.
