Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Suzuki Swift + and 2004 Chevrolet Aveo. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

    IMPORTANT: Lubricate the O-ring with T-IV Automatic Transmission Fluid GM P/N 88900925 (Canadian P/N 22689186).
  1. Install a new O-ring on the OSS sensor.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the OSS sensor and retaining bolt into the transaxle.

    Tighten:  Tighten the OSS sensor retaining bolt to 7.4 N.m (65 lb in).

  5. Connect the OSS sensor electrical connector.
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
