Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Put the wiper arms in the upright position.
  3. Remove the left side portion of the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in Body Front End.
  4. Remove the nut securing the wiper arm linkage to the motor drive shaft.

  6. Pry the wiper arm linkage off the motor drive shaft.
  7. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  8. Remove the bolts and the wiper motor.
