Installation Procedure

    IMPORTANT: An improperly installed air cleaner intake duct or breather tube will cause incorrect sensor readings resulting in MIL illumination or a driveability concern.
  1. Install the air cleaner intake duct.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Tighten the clamps securing the air cleaner intake duct.

    Tighten:  Tighten the clamp to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

  3. Connect the breather tube to the air cleaner intake duct.
  4. Connect the electrical connector to the IAT sensor.
