Enabling Procedure

  1. Connect the inflatable restraint side impact module - LF connector (1) located under the driver seat.
  2. Install the CPA to the side impact module - LF connector (1).

  4. Remove the F8 Fuse.
  5. Install the fuse box cover.
  6. Staying well away from all inflator modules and pretensioners, turn ON the ignition.
    • The AIR BAG indicator will flash 7 times.
    • The AIR BAG indicator will then turn OFF.
  7. Perform the Diagnostic System Check - SIR if the AIR BAG warning indicator does not operate as described. Refer to Diagnostic System Check - SIR .
