- Inspect the alternator-belt (1.2L SOHC).
- Inspect the alternator, power steering, and A/C compressor belt.
- Inspect the power steering, A/C compressor drive belt (1.2L SOHC).
- Change the engine oil and filter, or every 3 months, whichever occurs first.
- Inspect the cooling system hoses and connections
- Inspect the engine coolant. Refer to footnote (3).
- Inspect the fuel lines and connections.
- Inspect the air cleaner element. Refer to footnote (2).
- Change the spark plugs.
- Inspect the valve clearance (1.2L SOHC).
- Inspect the PCV system.
- Inspect the timing belt.
- Change the interior air filter.
- Inspect the exhaust pipes and mountings.
- Change the brake/clutch fluid. Refer to footnote (3), (4).
- Inspect the front brake pads and disc.
- Inspect the brake drums and linings.
- Inspect the parking brake.
- Inspect the brake line and the connections, including the booster.
- Inspect manual transaxle oil. Refer to footnote (3).
- Inspect the automatic transaxle oil. Refer to footnote (3).
- Inspect the chassis and underbody bolts and nuts tight/secure.
- Inspect tire condition and inflation pressure. Refer to footnote (6), (8).
- Rotate tires. Refer to footnote (7), (9).
- Inspect wheel alignment. Refer to footnote (10).
- Inspect the steering wheel and linkage.
- Inspect power steering fluid and lines.
- Inspect drive shaft boots.
- Inspect seat belts, buckles and anchors.
- Lubricate the locks, hinges and hood latch.
