Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the cable to the lock.
  2. Connect the lock rod.
  3. Connect the electrical connector.
    4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the luggage compartment lock with the screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the luggage compartment lock screws to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
