Circuit/System Testing

  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the ECM.
    • MR 140 controller terminal K64
    • MT 34 controller terminal C49
  2. Ignition ON, observe the MIL.
    • If the MIL is illuminated, test the MIL control circuit for a short to ground. If the circuit tests normal, replace the driver information center (DIC)/clock.
