Shift Fork Cleaning and Inspection

Measure the end thickness of shift fork and replace if below limit.

Specifications:

The standard shift fork end thickness for the low speed shift fork is 8.7 mm (0.343 in).
The shift fork end thickness limit for the low speed shift fork is 8.1 mm (0.319 in).
The standard shift fork end thickness for the high speed shift fork is 7.8 mm (0.307 in).
The shift fork end thickness limit for the high speed shift fork is 7.2 mm (0.283 in).
The standard shift fork end thickness for the fifth gear shift fork is 7.8 mm (0.307 in).
The shift fork end thickness limit for the fifth gear shift fork is 7.2 mm (0.283 in).
