- Turn OFF the ignition.
- Install the scan tool.
- With the engine OFF, turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Select Store Freeze Frame/Failure Records from the DTC Information menu.
- Store Freeze Frame/Failure Records.
- Select Clear DTC Information from the DTC Information menu.
- Clear the DTC information.
- Perform one vehicle drive cycle.

- Turn OFF the ignition.
- Measure the resistance between the vehicle harness and the shift solenoid (SS) 2. Refer to 1, 2 Shift Solenoid, Timing Solenoid, and Lock-Up Solenoid Inspection

- Disconnect the transmission control module (TCM) connector and measure the resistance between the terminal A15 and A23.
Is the measurement within the specified values? |

- Estimate the failure between the vehicle wiring harness connector and the TCM.
- Inspect the connector. Refer to Wiring Harness and Connector Inspection Diagnosis

- Inspect the connection condition between the connectors.

- Estimate the failure between the vehicle harness and the SS 2.
- Disconnect the transaxle harness connector and measure the resistance between the SS 2 connector terminal 10 and ground.
