Schematic Reference:  Exterior Lights Schematics (Domestic)   or  Exterior Lights Schematics (Export)  
Connector End View Reference:  Master Electrical Component List  in Wiring Systems
1 Did you perform the Lighting System Diagnostic System Check? Go to Step 2  Go to Diagnostic System Check - Lighting Systems 
2 Place the ignition switch in the ON position.
Is the trailer towing indicator on?
Go to Step 3  Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems
3 Operate the turn signals.
Do the turn signals operate properly?
Go to Step 4  Go to Diagnostic System Check - Lighting Systems 
4 Disconnect the turn signal hazard flasher.
Is the trailer towing indicator ON?
Go to Step 5  Go to Step 6 
5 Test for a short to battery positive voltage on the trailer towing indicator signal circuit. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
Did you find and correct the condition?
Go to Step 8  Go to Step 7 
6 Replace the turn signal hazard flasher module. Refer to Hazard and Turn Signal Flasher Replacement .
Did you complete the replacement?
Go to Step 8  -

IMPORTANT: Perform the set up procedure for the I/P.
Replace the instrument panel cluster (IPC). Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.Did you complete the replacement and the set up procedure?
Go to Step 8  -
8 Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
Did you correct the condition?
System OK Go to Step 2
