Diagnostic Aids
- The DIC displays SC when there is a shorted condition within the system.
- For intermittent diagnosis, refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems.
- Refer to Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Resistance in order to verify the correct ambient temperature sensor readings.

Disconnect one of the J 33431-C leads momentarily between the resistance settings in order to quickly update the DIC display. See Special Tools and Equipment . |
