An Emission Control Service.
- Inspect the cooling system hoses and connections.
- Inspect the engine coolant. Refer to footnote (3).
- Inspect the air cleaner element. Refer to footnote (2).
- Inspect the air cleaner element.
- Inspect the spark plugs for the 1.6 DOHC engine.
- Change the interior air filter A/C.
- Inspect the exhaust pipes and mountings.
- Inspect the brake/clutch fluid. Refer to footnote (4).
- Inspect the front brake pads and disc. Refer to footnote (4).
- Inspect the rear brake pads and disc or drums and linings. Refer to footnote (4).
- Inspect the handbrake.
- Inspect the brake line and connections, including the booster.
- Inspect the manual transaxle. Refer to footnote (3).
- Inspect the automatic fluid. Refer to footnote (3),(5),(7).
- Inspect the chassis and underbody bolts and nuts tight/secure.
- Inspect the tire condition and inflation pressure.
- Inspect wheel alignment. Refer to footnote (6).
- Inspect the steering wheel and linkage.
- Inspect the power steering fluid and lines. Refer to footnote (3).
- Inspect the drive shaft boots.
- Inspect the seat belts, buckles and anchors.
- Lubricate the locks, hinges and hood latch.
