Installation Procedure

  1. Align the knee bolster bracket to the IP.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the knee bolster bracket bolts to the instrument carrier in the sequence shown.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Install the knee bolster bracket bolts which secure the bracket to the IP lower trim panel.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Install the steering column filler panel. Refer to Steering Column Filler Replacement .
  5. Install the left IP insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left .
