Installation Procedure

  1. Install the ignition switch from the I/P pad. Refer to Ignition Switch Replacement .

  2. Install the I/P pad.
  3. Install the ambient light sensor. Refer to Ambient Light Sensor Replacement in Lighting Systems.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Tighten the I/P trim pad screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

  5. Install the park lock cable at the ignition switch. Refer to Park Lock Cable Replacement in Automatic Transaxle-4T40-E/4T45-E.
  6. Install the ignition switch wire harness connectors. Refer to Ignition Switch Replacement .
  7. Install the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement in Entertainment.
  8. Install the HVAC control module. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.
  9. Install the I/P center trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Center .
  10. Install the cluster. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Replacement .
  11. Install the cluster trim bezel assembly. Refer to Trim Plate Bezel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Cluster .
  12. Install the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement .
  13. Install the I/P compartment. Refer to Compartment Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) .
  14. Install the I/P right trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel (I/P) Trim Panel Replacement - Right .
  15. Install the I/P left trim panels. Refer to Instrument Panel (I/P) Trim Panel Replacement - Left .
  16. Install the I/P outer trim covers. Refer to Instrument Panel (I/P) Outer Trim Cover Replacement .
  17. Install the I/P upper trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Upper .
