Installation Procedure

  1. Align the I/P compartment to the opening.

    Depress the side stops located on the sides of the I/P compartment.

    Install the I/P compartment to the I/P compartment opening.

    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the I/P compartment screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  3. Close the I/P compartment. Verify that the I/P compartment is properly aligned. Adjust the compartment as required.
  4. Install the right insulator panel. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right .
