Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
IMPORTANT: Clean the evaporative emission (EVAP) and fuel line connections and surrounding areas prior to disconnecting the fittings in order to avoid possible fuel/EVAP system contamination.

  1. Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief Procedure .
  2. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  3. Disconnect the fuel pressure sensor electrical connector (1).

  5. Disconnect the fuel feed line from the front and rear tank lines. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) .
  6. Disconnect the EVAP lines from the front and rear tank lines. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) .
  7. Remove the hose assembly.
