Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: View Of Fuel Feed Line, Rear Fuel Feed Line, EVAP Purge Line & EVAP Vapor Line (2500 Series - Front Tank)

  1. Remove the caps from the fuel feed and EVAP lines.
  2. Install and connect the EVAP vapor line (1) to the valve and retaining clips. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) .
  3. Install and connect the EVAP purge line (3) to the sending unit and retaining clips. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) .
  4. Install the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (Single Tank)  or Fuel Tank Replacement (Single Tank w/5.3L (L59) Engine)  or Fuel Tank Replacement (Dual Tanks - Front)  or Fuel Tank Replacement (Dual Tanks - Rear) .
