Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the water pump inlet to the water pump.
  2. Install the water pump inlet bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).

  3. Install the radiator outlet hose. Refer to Radiator Hose Replacement - Outlet (4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L Engines)  or Radiator Hose Replacement - Outlet (Utility 8.1L Engine)  or Radiator Hose Replacement - Outlet (Avalanche/XLT 8.1L) .
