Installation Procedure

  1. Install the upper fan shroud.
  2. Install the fan shroud bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  4. Install the fan shroud retainers.

  6. Connect the TCM electrical connectors (1).
  7. Install the TCM and cover.
  8. Tighten the TCM electrical connector bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

  10. Install the TCM cover to the fan shroud.
  11. Install the TCM cover bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  13. Install the engine harness clip to the PCM cover.
  14. Install the A/C line retainer to the fan shroud.

  16. Install the air cleaner outlet duct.
  17. Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct clamp at the throttle body.

    Tighten:  Tighten the clamp screws to 7 N.m (62 lb in).

  18. Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct clamp at the mass airflow sensor.

    Tighten:  Tighten the clamp screws to 7 N.m (62 lb in).
