Removal & Installation (Rear)

  1. Siphon brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle.
  3. Clean any dirt and foreign material from the hose and the fittings. Remove the rear brake hose from the right rear brake pipe.
  4. Remove the rear brake hose from the center brake pipe.
  5. Install the rear brake hose to the center brake pipe. Install the rear brake hose to the right rear brake pipe. Tighten brake pipe flare nut fittings to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  6. Bleed the brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM  . Lower the vehicle.
