Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement (HP7) .
    2. Fig 1: Range Select Cable

  2. Disconnect the range select cable (2) from the range select lever.
  3. Release the range select cable retaining clip (1) and remove the cable from the range select cable bracket.

  4. Remove the nut (2) securing the range select lever cable bracket.
  5. Remove the bolt (1) securing the range select lever cable bracket.
  6. Remove the range select lever cable bracket (3).
