Preliminary Procedures
- Apply the parking brake.
- Remove the automatic transmission control lever knob. Refer to Transmission Control Lever Knob Replacement .
- Remove the front floor console accessory trim plate. Refer to Front Floor Console Accessory Trim Plate Replacement
.
- Remove the control position indicator bulb from the automatic transmisson control indicator.
- Disconnect the traction control switch electrical connector.
