Diagnostic Aids

The following conditions may cause this DTC to set:

• Camshaft reluctor wheel damage.
• Sensor contact with the reluctor wheel.
• Foreign material passing between the sensor and the reluctor wheel.
• Excessive camshaft end-play.
• Wiring routed too close to secondary ignition components.
