Installation Procedure

  1. Install the front floor console.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the console bolts forward of the shift control lever and at the bottom of the storage bin.

    Tighten:  Tighten the console bolts to 12 N.m (106 lb in).

  3. Install the storage compartment mat.
  4. Close the console storage compartment.
  5. Connect the wiring harness connector and retainer.
  6. Install the front floor console trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - Front Floor Console (Impala)  or Trim Plate Replacement - Front Floor Console (Monte Carlo) .
