Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) compartment.

    Refer to COMPARTMENT REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P)  .

  2. Open the compartment door.
  3. Using a 13/64-inch drill bit carefully drill out the rivets (2) from the I/P striker (3).
  4. Remove the striker (3) from the I/P compartment (1).
