Removal Procedure

Disable the SIR system. Refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
Remove the screws from the underside of the I/P compartment door.

Open the I/P compartment door.
Remove the remaining I/P compartment screws inside the pocket.

Disconnect the electrical connection from the I/P compartment lamp switch.
Remove the I/P compartment from the I/P carrier.
