Installation Procedure

Connect the electrical connection to the I/P compartment lamp switch.
Install the I/P compartment to the I/P carrier.

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
Install the screws to the underside of the I/P compartment door.
Tighten

Tighten the screws to 2.3 N.m (20 lb in).

Open the I/P compartment door Install the remaining I/P compartment screws inside the pocket.
Tighten

Tighten the screws to 2.3 N.m (20 lb in).
Enable the SIR system. Refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
