Striker Adjustment - Instrument Panel (I/P) Compartment

  1. Open the instrument panel (IP) compartment door.
  2. Loosen the IP compartment striker screws.
  3. Adjust the IP compartment striker, as required.
    4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Tighten the IP compartment striker screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the striker screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  5. Close the IP compartment.
  6. Inspect the IP compartment for proper fit and operation. Repeat the procedure if required.
