Removal Procedure

  1. Lower the right insulator panel. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right .
  2. Remove the screws from the instrument panel (I/P) compartment.

  4. Open the I/P compartment. Disconnect the I/P damper cables, if equipped.
  5. Depress the side stops located on the sides of the I/P compartment.
  6. Carefully remove the I/P compartment.
