Installation Procedure

Fig 1: I/P Compartment Damper Cables

Align the I/P compartment to the opening.
Depress the side stops located on the sides of the I/P compartment.

Install the I/P compartment to the I/P compartment opening.
Connect the I/P compartment damper cables, if equipped.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the I/P compartment screws.
Tighten: Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
Close the I/P compartment. Verify that the I/P compartment is properly aligned. Adjust the compartment as required.
Install the right insulator panel. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right .
