Stoplight Switch: Removal

  1. Remove the lower I/P trim insulator screw. Remove the lower I/P trim insulator from the brake pedal bracket.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connections from the stop light switch. See Fig 1 . Rotate the stop light switch counterclockwise until the travel stop has been reached. Pull the stop light switch rearward. See Fig 1 .
  3. Remove the stop light switch from the brake pedal bracket. See Fig 1 .
