Installation Procedure

  1. Press the IP outer air outlet deflector thumbwheel tab into the slot on the pivot point on the IP cluster trim plate.
  2. Align the IP outer air outlet deflector to the pivot points in the IP cluster trim plate.
  3. Press in from the front side of the IP cluster trim plate in order to install the IP outer air outlet deflector.
  4. Perform the following steps in order to align the IP outer air outlet deflector housing to the retainers on the back side of the IP cluster trim plate:
    1. 4.1. Align the IP outer air outlet deflector housing lever to the arm on the thumbwheel.
    2. 4.2. Press the IP outer air outlet deflector housing into the retainers until fully seated.
  5. Install the IP cluster trim plate. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - IP Cluster .
